Patterns tend to be sorted according to a sort of “similarity” that would be hopelessly confusing to some poor outsider trying to find something… Standard leaf patterns are in one area, petalled husks and bobeches in another, cones and lily forms next to the torcheres, etc. And then there are the really old ones on the west wall that — who knows? — may come in handy one day.
A group of really custom jobs… And tray forms, which we also don’t do every day.
Just some of our many patterns, jigs and templates. Some date back to the 1950’s but new ones keep getting added.
Patterns are often accompanied by sample parts because it can be very frustrating to be confronted with a flat pattern from years ago and wonder: “Now, how did I do that?” when one needs to reproduce it.
The other pictures on this page are of patterns. These are soldering jigs. They hold parts in position while they are soldered or brazed together.
